Michele De Lucchi and his aMDL studio
An architect and designer of international renown, the mastermind behind the celebrated Tolomeo lamp for Artemide, Michele De Lucchi is in charge of the restoration project of the Residenze Litta, his distinctive style imbues the interior designs created exclusively for the Residenze. A prominent figure in the debate about the relationship
between architectural philosophy, industrial design and communication, De Lucchi, with his aMDL studio, handles urban projects, architecture, interior and product design, as well as designing exhibition and museum venues. Over the years his projects have included the Milan Triennial, the Neues Museum in Berlin and the Franco Parenti Theatre in Milan, as well as such highly visible projects in Georgia as the Ministry of Internal Affairs building and the Tbilisi Peace Bridge. His art is also exhibited in the world’s most important museums.
